IF THESE SHEETS COULD TALK ....

Okay, from co-worker to my best friend, childhood friend, and Dexter ( My Dog). I have been surrounded and reminded of OCD daily. I have decided to hit the Internet for some insight on exactly what the root of this behavior is and how I can have a better response to it.

For those of you who aren't aware of Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) I will go ahead and give you a few examples instead of getting all scientific on you.


DEAR FRIEND- Insists on making the bed sometimes 9 times until the sheets are evenly spread and tight.. Sometimes I just want to tear them off the bed.. hence why I am writing this blog. WELL IF YOU CAN'T BEAT EM', JOIN EM' I SAY!!!


Begin with a freshly laundered sheet set. Place all bedding on a nearby chair to prevent contact with the floor. While many hotels use flat sheets for both top and bottom — securing the lower sheet by the miracle of hospital corners — you probably own a perfectly beautiful, fitted bottom sheet. Pull it taut from corner to corner until the mattress is covered.

Standing at the footboard, shake out the top sheet until it billows down evenly over the bed; adjust to ensure a similar length drapes down either side of the mattress. Moving to the head of the bed, lift the end of the sheet and lay the hem in one smooth line directly along the headboard. Returning to the foot of the bed, gently pull out any bunching until the sheet lies flat and the excess dangles toward your feet.

Repeat this step with your blanket of choice, but lay the top hem two hand widths short of the headboard. Fold the top sheet back over the blanket to protect the sleeper’s face from rough fabric — and to protect the blanket from body oils and moisture that increase the need for laundering. Give the top sheet and blanket two swift hospital corners (see below) at the foot, leaving the sides loose to ease tucking yourself in.

This tidy trick sounds complicated but takes only seconds to apply. Tuck the top sheet and blanket together under the foot of the mattress. When you are done, the dangling fabric at the sides of the foot will have made a short U-turn back along the length of the bed. Pinch the U between your fingers and pull it toward the headboard, parallel to the mattress. Then, tuck the hanging corners of the sheet and blanket together under the mattress. Let the remaining fabric fall over the tucked portion, and that, as they say, is that.

Finishing Touches

To save your pillows from oils, etc., avoid grasping them under the chin to pull on the cases. Instead, lay them on the bed and inch the cases on with rocking hand motions. A vertical shaking should take care of the rest. If the length of the case overwhelms the pillow, tuck the top surface over the end and just inside the bottom fabric. Fold the bottom excess in after it to form a smooth pocket — as if the pillow's lips were inside out (or, rather, outside in). Set the pillows aside for a moment.

Apply the bedspread, keeping the length even along the sides and foot of the bed. You should have significant surplus at the headboard. Double this back over the spread until the fold line runs parallel to the headboard a few inches short of the top sheet. Center the sleeping pillows on the fold and lift the remaining spread over their tops. This prevents the day’s dust fall from resting on the pillows.
Alternate ending: Use a bed skirt and choose a coordinating comforter in place of the blanket.
Toss decorative pillows and throws as desired. Mints are optional.

The Finer Points of Bed Making from Housekeeping Channel 

(I DON'T THINK YOU WILL GET IT RIGHT THE FIRST TIME EITHER.. MAYBE SHE'S ON TO SOMETHING!!)

Co-Worker - Has the need to wash his hands whenever he comes in contact with anything. (The person who comes in and has the exact same routine every day and if you disturb the routine.. it can get ugly. This particular co-worker.. hangs his clothes, prepares his tea to steep ...Grabs his plastic box strategically placed on top of the locker the same way every time.. In the box..... 1. .clean place mat to stand on while he dresses and dark side of placemat faces down so when he picks it up he can fold the dark part to the inside so his clothes don't pick anything up...
2. Small bottle of Lysol to spray the floor he is placing his clean mat on.. 
3. Shoes in the same place in the box, and then neatly placed in front of him so he can just slip his feet in ..  uniform folded neatly in freshly washed laundry bag, in the same place.. clothes folded and placed into the laundry bag in the plastic box like origami. Belt folded neatly in the left side shoe.
Cell phone in the other.

4. Bottles of hand sanitizer.. one for the locker, one for the box, and one in the right pocket of his pants.  Go back in the room place box above the locker in the same way and position as always. 


Tea is brewed.. get tea bag an put in garbage.. sanitize hands... grab tea cup and stand over the chair I always sit in until the person in it leaves. On my way to the "LOBBY" sanitize the walkie.. and go. If I may add a really great guy! And he volunteered to pose for the pictures for this blog entry.

My Dog - Dexter is amazing he loves the same things all the time and don't change it up.. We live on the second floor. He hates to walk on Tile.. so instead of crossing them to go to the stairs.. we sit in front of the elevator. (My neighbors think I am the laziest person on the earth!) When the door opens it's tile tile tile.. soooooooo. it takes some coercing to get him down the stairs some times. but he has to cross the lobby and walk along the side of the desk.. then cross over the glass and walk along the glass before he bolts out the door to the curb. THE ONLY TOY HE WILL PLAY WITH IS HIS BUMI FROM WEST PAW DESIGN... I HAD TO ORDER THREE OF THEM..  One for home, travel and mother's house.

Treat time or when he wants one.. he comes over to me and simultaneously will sit and lift his paw as if I gave him those two orders.. to say I want a treat.. If I don't give him one.. he walks to the other side of me and does the same thing..

THE DAY I LOST MY VIRGINITY...DIRTY BLONDE,,,

It was March 2006, I was home in meditation, conferring with my angels.. Jonah and Mark.. I was told that I had to be brought to the next level of my spiritual work. My instructions were to go away on a trip.. out of New York. Which meant to me my mom's Jersey Shore house. They insisted , "IF your family will create a peaceful place for you to advance good if not, ....that's why you have to leave NY" Well- peaceful, quiet, and my family do not go together.

I was at a loss. SO I did the only thing I knew was affordable.. try and get an acting gig out of the city...

I will state this first: AEA Principal Auditions are auditions that are mandatory from any union house, casting director..so on and so forth. It is rare that people book something right away at these calls.. Me... I had never been to one.

So I opened the Backstage and found DIRTY BLONDE...I am right for that show and it was being produced at a the Barnstormers Theatre (See Below) in this town in New Hampshire called Tamworth. I had gone in and three days later I got the job. THIS DOES NOT HAPPEN!! NOW I KNEW MY GUYS WERE AT WORK.. because I was willing to go!!

TAMWORTH, NEW HAMPSHIRE

So I spent the first week rehearsing and memorizing lines. It was quite challenging and I had a ball, My co star DOUG.. was and is an amazing talent, who has remained a good friend.

Through the course of rehearsals I was asked by Doug who became aware of my psychic abilities if I would read him. .I thought this is it.. well I read Doug but nothing earth shattering happened,  I read his partner and the stars of the next show that were playing there as we were performing they were rehearsing.

I was at a loss why was I asked to go there?.. I get a call from someone in stage management we will call her JANE... found out about my hidden talents and asked if I would read her.  OF course I would...we scheduled that Thursday.. I am praying this is it. She calls me on Thursday morning and asks if we can switch to Friday.. Like I had a million things to do.. 150 people in the town, 2 stores The GENERAL STORE....and "THE OTHER STORE" Get the picture and they were next door to each other.

JANE pulls up and comes into the kitchen. I greet and tell her I am going to ask you to stand up.. So I can see your aura and let you know what's going on there. ..As Jane stands up I feel a person walk right through me.. (and I have a witness) it cut me like ice.. my teeth were chattering and I was shaking.. I hear very loudly in my own voice in my head.. I am so and so her Brother.. so as she is staring at me asking me she needs to get help due to my shivering.. I said no.. its your brother..so and so  is he on the other side.. well she hit the ground knees first.. yes..

V..HE's here and he is showing me how he died..
(I was in water up to my nostrils as I watched a boat rock back and forth in secs I was thrown back into the water.. As this happened I was above the water looking at the scene in front of me.. A man with a pipe or blunt instrument ready to come down and the brothers look of recognition prior to his being killed)
V. Your brother was murdered in water and he knew his killer..
J. on the ground.. yes yes.. oh my God....
V. Has justice been served is this man in jail?
J Yes.
V Your brother says if you don't get passed the way he died. .you will make yourself sick.

The session went on for some time. The last thing her brother said was He was worried about her mother's gastritis. She had just had an attack that morning.. We closed up the session and before her brother left.. I was given a true gift.. I felt what he felt where he was and it was the most unbelievable feeling in the world..

We had gone out to lunch after and in the middle of a bite.. Jane started to cry I asked if she was okay and she said yes. I know why the session was changed to today. .. it's the anniversary of his death..AND SO IT BEGAN...

Well I thought I would be wiped after this experience. It completely energized me.

Talk about let's go have a drink and chat after the show..

Months later I had gone to find out. that THE NEW HAMPSHIRE STATE THEATRE AWARDS nominated me for BEST ACTOR IN DIRTY BLONDE (2006).

Now, today is the time to start. Change one negative thought or thing into a positive today and keep that thought until you see a change. Your faith will be tested by your ability or inability to stay focused with your new mindset.

Either way you will be SUCCESSFUL for whatever you think. Succeed in not attaining the changes you have implemented or Succeed in getting the changes you have implemented. YOU CHOOSE! How do we change this for the better or take what we see as the best and transform it one step further.

Secondly, take a look at your immediate environment, as your house is an outer manifestation of your thoughts of your self and what is going on in you. Could you clean a closet? Get rid of storage? Rearrange a room or two. Have a better or more organized cleaning routine (if not hire someone.) You can extend the inventory to your street. Can you manicure your lawn, manicure a neighbors lawn who can’ t afford a landscaper. Don’t assume they want help ask first as a nice gesture. You may have to lead by example. Join a community board.  Volunteer locally or campaign for a politician who represents your new and improved belief system…

If you have the time to moan on facebook and Twitter you have the time to STUFF AN ENVELOPE!! Can’t means won’t.  And it’s fine if you choose not to, just be honest with your self.

I have found volunteering to be the number one feel good gesture ever. It helps others and you leave with a sense of accomplishment. There are thousands of places to volunteer, so get busy. Some friends have turned their weekly volunteer jobs into full-time jobs. They organize and run events and fund raisers for said organizations of their choice. Giving a service away you normally charge for is another form on volunteering.

Once you volunteer your services, you will see how it has a way of taking over.  Balance is important to your souls progression. When you are exercising your “true purpose”, servicing each other and your environment, the outcome is only a win win situation.

REVISITING THE FEAST OF MY FAITH!!

I grew up in Newark, NJ on Lake Street. A beautiful tree lined street across from the most beautiful park (Branch Brook Park)  imaginable.  Cherry Blossoms like you have never seen.
Baseball diamonds, fishing for trout in the lake, and most importantly the Feast of St Gerard. The patron Saint of expectant mothers.

This is the feast that has been bringing families, extended families, aunts and uncles, who really weren't your aunts and uncles but much stronger, friends and community together to celebrate.  I have been going since I was in a carriage to this very day. The money you see was and is wrapped around him as he processes through the streets of Newark for three days where the money would reach well into the six figure range.. that explained the cops and the dark suits following the procession as they do now.

I was raised with a very strong belief in my God and the old fashion traditions of the Church. I only have the fondest memories of my childhood and my friends I grew up with.. They are the only people on my facebook that know each other 40 somewhat years and still talk and see each other.. REAL COMMUNITY.

My Aunt Minnie (Philomena) truly taught me to pray, really pray and believe that God was always there for me no matter what. The God she  taught me about was kind, gentle, loving, unshakeable, reverent and always available . I think I just described her. Talk about an example. I still owe her for my discipline in prayer and mediation. Through her my faith is a rope as opposed to the threads that today, seem to make up the fabric of our faith.

My friendships were unshakable, yes people grow older and have more responsibilities but we stay in as close touch as possible. I have to admit I was not very honest up until now after 40 years about the gift God has blessed me with and well, I am expecting some adversity. I will keep them in light and hope for the best.. LOVE YOU GUYS!!

YOU DON'T STAND A GHOST OF A CHANCE....

If ever seeking out a psychic or a medium here are just a few things you should look for.....

Meaning whoever is there to help you has to work much harder.

IT'S AMAZING TO WATCH THE FACES LIGHTEN UP DURING A SESSION!!

Well I have been working part time at Disney's the Lion King for some time now. It serves as a great part time gig, while concentrating on my other 3 occupations.. now all I have to do is generate money from all of them and I will set. In this economy... RENAISSANCE MAN becomes an understatement!!

What makes it easy at The Lion King,  are  alot of the cast are just hands down amazing.  Tsidi Manye (RAFIKI) will steal your heart.. she is a joy to watch every night and she is one of the most consistent actresses and singers I have ever come to know. And on a personal note.. her spirit in life is just as joyful as it is on stage.. WE LOVE HER!!!

I always loved musical theatre as a kid and a teenager.. I got snobby and only wanted to act after the NEIGHBORHOOD PLAYHOUSE SCHOOL OF THE THEATRE and SANFORD MEISNER. I was spoiled. Out of School I was a member of the ACTOR'S GROUP of NEW YORK, artistically run by Joannne Woodward. She and Paul Newman ended up a part of my life for what was four of the best years in my young adulthood.  I was blessed.

Well I guess being around the Lion King.. gave me the bug for musicals. again.. so now I have come on to assist a producer with  A CHRISTMAS STORY THE MUSICAL playing in Hershey PA. Detroit, Raleigh, Tampa and the last three weeks in Chicago at the Chicago Theatre.. that's right FRA GEEL AYE.. must be italian.... ACS will be opening in NYC on BROADWAY next season......that 's the plan.  

The wonderful part about working for a producer  is you only have to raise ridiculous amounts of money usually in a short period of time.. gotta love my life. So I can basically fund raise for free..  I put together 3 audition classes to compensate..  This is always a good thing . After 30 years in this business, something has to pay off.

DEXTER: THE REAL GHOST WHISPERER!!!

Yes don't let the face fool you. He has sat at attention every time a spirit of a relative or loved one has entered the room to greet me and a client. Dexter sometimes finds it comforting to sit next to the spirits' feet. He will literally go across to where the client is and sit 5 feet away facing me..

It's so comforting to have my gauge around. This here is the best thing I have ever done for myself. There have been times we have come in from a walk and the minute we walk into the living room he tears for the door as if chasing someone out.. and just growls.. he doesn't bark.. THANK GOD!!


And when that energy leaves which can be a couple of minutes. He looks at me as if to say, "Where's my treat.. I don't do this for free."

Yes folks there is energy that can follow you home and keep you tossing all night.. Simple things to do. .pray for a peaceful sleep. Meditate and protect yourself in your sleep, and or hit the house with some sage when you are home for the evening.. it forces them or it out of the home.

I had an unusual experience as I have many... One night I am in the kitchen with my dog Dex and I am cutting vegetables. Out of my peripheral vision I sense an old lady walk right past me. DEXTER IS AT ATTENTION....So out loud I ask who is this.. and in my own voice in my mind as if it is being placed there. I hear My name is Sophia I am here to visit with one of your clients. NOW.. it's a MONDAY I don't have clients until the weekend. I say out loud "Okay look. I have clients on the weekend and if you don't make yourself scarce I am going to have to force you out and you won't be able to return".. She says in my mind in my own voice.. Okay I will leave you alone until she... (SHE) arrives. Now my weekend clients this particular weekend were all MEN!!

Okay so Sophia left me and the dog alone for the time she was here. I should have charged her rent. Two days later a steady client of mine calls and says, "Can you see my friend so and so she really needs some guidance." So I told her to come on Friday. Now I know this is the ONE!

Friday arrives and as she knocks on the door. I instinctively throw a box of kleenex on the sofa. She arrives in her seat and as she sits, in my minds eye and energetically, I feel her grandmother Sophia standing next to her with her arms folded.. NOT HAPPY!!!

I say, "Is your grandmother's name Sophia?"..... she dives for the Kleenex. "WHAT made you ask me that?", she says...

Well, She's been here since Monday!! Well this is going to take a little proving.. Sophia? .. oh okay... Did you recently put up wallpaper with tiny pink roses on your bedroom wall.. well she went white and wailed. ON MONDAY!!!

Needless to say this girl was in great danger in her relationship and needed to strengthen her body and soul.. lot of work and changes.. the session as they usually do sometimes went overtime.. From what I understand the girl has completely turned her life around.

(THE SPIRITUAL LESSON)
Everything is pre destined.. Sophia somehow, someway knew her granddaughter would be here days in advance.. so somehow, somewhere is was written or spiritually manipulated. Which I don't believe in the later due to my knowledge that spirit cannot interfere unless they are literally asked by the person out loud. But it was meant to be. I really don't question a lot in this work as GOD does work in mysterious ways.

I accept the blessings and the lessons I am given everyday! As they have been predestined and I do my best to choose the highest choice for me!!

COMING OUT OF THE CLOSET .....AGAIN!

I have been in the closet.. okay a lot of you are like what are you kidding? But I have.. this is where my dearest friends who think they know me.. well get a little shocker.. or say "OFF HIS ROCKER. "

I have been a psychic since my teenage years and a practicing psychic since 1991. I crossed over into mediumship...yes, started to see dead people in 2007. I have clients internationally, and have been blessed and have had the incredible gift of communicating with people's loved ones, who are deceased for the last 4 years. My clients range from young adults.. on a career path to, professional men and women in finance, hedge funds, entertainment, marketing, law and a number of other professions.

I was introduced to my "guides" who happen to be the most amazing men I will ever have in my life.. MARK to my left  and JONAH to my right.. in a guided meditation by my instructor at the time Dr. Ginger Grancagnolo.  Mark is male angel, who looks like a regular guy with and incredible set of wings... And Jonah .. well here goes a 25 foot angel with hands the size of a pick up truck..

As the instructor said take what you get... well after 20 years I finally got proof that i wasn't insane all these years... haha.

I have a friend who meets me to walk my dog on occasion. He knew what I did as a hobby meaning my psychic/ medium work.. and shared with me that his wife is an accomplished medium as well and now therapist.. Flash forward the following week. I meet his wife walking the dog as I engage her with my hey I'm a medium . .I hear you do the same work.. She looks to my RIGHT and looks up to the sky and says.. who is this HUGE GUY standing next to you.. well.. even I nearly shit my pants!! NO ONE ON THE EARTH KNEW ABOUT JONAH UNTIL  THAT VERY MOMENT!!  And in an instant she legitimized herself and me..

She has sent me many clients as she knows I will in the years to come be doing only this work. I still sometimes avoid the work as I fill my days with so many activities such as producing Broadway shows and launching a pet product website in weeks to come. I have been informed by my guides that now is a better time than any to come out and start doing the work as often as I could. The world is in such turmoil that people will have a need for direction and acceptance of themselves in the months to come.
